Salaries are excellent especially when you work for high profile celebrities or political figures and you get to spend time with those VIPs. There are many people from a wide range of backgrounds as bodyguards or as members of close protection squads. We do find however that there are many ex-military personnel and retired police officers. Many people also into this industry after working as bouncers in nightclubs.
